Dobcroft After School Hours is a playcare provision open to children aged between 4 and 11 years. It has recently been inspected and approved by OFSTED as have our staff.

There are 3 clubs within DASH:-

Infant DASH– 4-8yr olds 3.30pm-6pm
Within the Infant School

Junior DASH– 8-11yr olds 3.30-6pm
In the DASH portakabin (adjacent to the junior school hall)

8 o’clock club- 4-11yr olds 8am-9pm
Also in the DASH portakabin

DASH also runs full day playcare sessions outside term time for children aged 4-11yrs.

DASH has a full set of policies which are in the clubs at all times and always available for parents to read. All three clubs also use the the school grounds for outdoor play.

Our aim is to provide a safe, caring and fun environment for children aged between 4 and 11 years. We feel that it is important to listen to children’s views in order to maintain a stimulating and fun environment for all.

We also aim to help children in the club to develop a respect for themselves and others. The club seeks to offer equal opportunities for all and this is reflected in the resources, activities and the practice of the staff.
